Agreement

These terms apply when you use the AxisSites website or hire AxisSites (“we”, “us”) for web design, development, or related services. By using our site or purchasing our services, you agree to these terms. Your specific project scope, deliverables, and pricing are set out in the proposal we send you — if a proposal and these terms ever conflict, the proposal wins.

Our services

We design and build websites, run the Axis Audit™, and offer monthly plans for hosting, site care, and getting found on Google and in AI answers, for contractors, trades, and local service businesses. The free Axis Scan™ and website audits are provided for informational purposes and are not a guarantee of specific business results.

Reservations, balances, and payment

Project reservation. Website builds are reserved with 50% at signing. This payment secures your build slot and starts the project.
Remaining balance. The remaining 50% is due at design sign-off. We’ll send you a secure payment link for the balance.
12-month split. A 12-month split is available at a 10% premium.
The Axis Audit™. The audit is $497, one-time, and is credited in full against any build within 60 days.
Monthly plans. Ongoing plans are billed monthly in advance and can be canceled anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars.

Refunds

If we haven’t started work on your project, we’ll refund your reservation payment in full — just ask. Once design and build work has begun, the reservation payment covers the work already performed and is non-refundable, but we’ll always work with you in good faith to make the project right before it gets to that point.

Your responsibilities

Provide the materials we need on time — logos, photos, service details, and answers to the kickoff questionnaire — so we can keep your project on schedule.
Make sure you have the rights to any content you give us (photos, text, logos, testimonials).
Review and approve work within a reasonable time when we ask for feedback.

Ownership

You own everything we build for you once your project is paid in full — the design, the content we wrote for you, and the website files. Your domain name is registered in your name and is yours regardless. Until full payment is received, work product remains our property. We may showcase completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

While you’re on a monthly plan, the split stays simple: you own your domain, your website and content, your business data and leads, your Google Business Profile, and your analytics accounts. We manage what your plan includes (see Website builds and monthly plans below) for as long as you’re subscribed.

Website builds and monthly plans

Axis Audit™ ($497 one-time): three numbers: how fast your site loads, how many of your calls are answered, and whether you show up when someone asks AI who to call; a readout call with the dollar value of the leak; you keep the report either way; credited in full against any build within 60 days.
Launch ($6,000 one-time): a discovery workshop; 8–12 pages: home, 4–6 services, about, contact, 2–4 service areas; conversion copy — we write it, you review it; mobile-first design, built to load fast on a phone; no hosting lock-in, you own it 100% once it’s paid for; a quote-request form sent straight to you; your Google Business Profile aligned with the site; structured data; analytics and conversion tracking; a 30-day tune; ownership documentation; domain connection — we handle the technical DNS work.
Growth ($9,000 one-time): everything in Launch; 8 more service-area pages; a half-day photo and video shoot; Local Services Ads setup; a 90-day conversion-rate optimization program.
Dominate (from $15,000 one-time): everything in Growth; 20+ pages; a multi-location structure; a cost page for every service; quarterly refreshes for a year; scoped and quoted.
Hosting & Security ($97/month): fast hosting and SSL; security updates; every version saved; uptime monitoring; monthly automated checks; bug fixes.
Site Care ($297/month): everything in Hosting & Security; text and photo changes, just email them; a monthly check on your Google listing; a monthly note from a human; new pages are quoted.
Growth Partnership ($1,997/month): everything in Site Care; your Google listing, managed; reviews after every job; a page that earns its place, every month; listed right everywhere AI looks; the monthly AI check; your map ranking, measured; a conversion fix every quarter; a 30-minute call every month.

Each monthly plan includes everything in the one before it, and the prices never stack: hosting is included in all three, and the Growth Partnership is $1,997 a month in total. Monthly plans are month to month.

Google listing upkeep and review requests depend on the client granting manager access to the profile and telling us when jobs are completed.

Routine updates — on Site Care and the Growth Partnership, changes to existing content such as phone numbers, hours, photos, testimonials, and text edits are included. They are not included in Hosting & Security. Included support covers reasonable business volumes and is not unlimited.
Project work — such as a store, a booking system, a client portal, new pages, major redesigns, new features or systems, complex integrations, e-commerce, large content additions, and branding — is quoted separately as a fixed-price proposal and begins only after your written approval.
Critical outages — if your website is unreachable or a core function such as calls or forms is broken, we expedite the fix ahead of all routine requests.
Requests can be submitted at axissites.com/support or by replying to any email from AxisSites.

Promises

Live in 21 days, or 20% off. Live in 21 days from the day we have your logo, photos and details — if you already have a site, we take them from it — not counting days we’re waiting on your approval. Bigger builds get their date agreed in writing before we start. If we miss it, we take 20% off. The 21-day guarantee covers your website going live. Google listing work begins once you give us manager access to your profile.
You like the direction, or we start over. We don’t start building until you like the direction. If you don’t like the first one, we do another, at no extra charge.
You own all of it once it’s paid for. The site, the domain, the content, your Google Business Profile and analytics accounts — all in your name. Not rented. Once it’s paid for, fire us tomorrow and you keep every bit of it: we hand over your site files and help point your domain wherever you want it.
No retainer you can’t get out of. The monthly plans run month to month. You stay because it’s working, not because you’re stuck.

Timelines

We’ll give you a realistic timeline in your proposal and keep you updated throughout. Timelines depend on receiving your content and feedback promptly; delays on either side move the schedule accordingly.

No guarantee of results

We build websites designed to win you more work, and we stand behind our craft — but we can’t guarantee specific rankings, traffic, lead volume, or revenue outcomes, because those depend on factors outside any agency’s control. Any specific guarantee we offer will be stated in writing in your proposal.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as lost profits.

Termination

Either of us can end a project engagement with written notice. If you end the project, you’ll pay for work completed up to that date; anything already paid beyond that will be refunded per the refund terms above. We’ll hand over all work you’ve paid for.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Changes apply to new projects; existing projects stay on the terms in place when they were booked.
