Who we are
AxisSites (“we”, “us”) is a web design and search agency for contractors, trades, and local service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Information we collec t
We collect information you give us directly, including:
- Contact details — your name, business name, phone number, and email address when you run the free Axis Scan™, book the free 30-minute call, or use our contact form.
- Business information — your website address and publicly available business listing details (such as reviews and ratings) when we prepare a website audit or an Axis Scan™ report for you.
- Project information — answers you provide in our kickoff questionnaire and materials you share with us during a project (logos, photos, service details).
- Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive confirmation of payment and the amount paid.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and prepare your free Axis Scan™ report.
- To deliver the services you hire us for, including designing and building your website.
- To send you emails about your inquiry or project. Every marketing email we send includes a working unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs immediately.
- To process payments and keep records of transactions.
- To improve our services and website.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Ser vice providers we rely on
We use a small number of trusted providers to run our business. They only receive the information needed to do their job:
- Stripe — payment processing (project reservations, balances, and monthly plans).
- Email providers — to send and receive email correspondence with you.
- Hosting providers — to host our website and the websites we build.
Cookies and analy tic s
Our website uses only the technical storage necessary for it to function (for example, keeping a client logged in to their dashboard). We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Report engagement analytics — when you open an Axis Scan™ report we prepared for you, we record basic first-party usage signals tied to that report: that it was opened, which sections were viewed, roughly how long it was read, and whether the PDF was downloaded. We use this only to understand which parts of our reports are useful and to improve them. These signals contain no cookies, IP addresses, device identifiers, or third-party trackers, and are kept under the same retention and deletion rules as the rest of your inquiry records — you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Data retention
We keep inquiry and project records for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and afterwards only as long as needed for legitimate business purposes such as accounting and legal compliance. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your choices” below).
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
- You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
To make any of these requests, contact us here and we’ll take care of it promptly.
Children’s privacy
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
